Job summary

AmeriCARE High Plains is seeking a compassionate caregiver for a part-time position that could grow to full-time as the company expands. You will provide personal care, companionship, and light household assistance to clients in Colorado, with emphasis on safety and respect.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and adaptability, plus the ability to use a smartphone for real-time tracking. A background check and flu vaccine are required by Colorado regulations.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience may be required.
• CPR/First Aid certification may be required.
• Vue Colorado Home Agency Compliance Requirements training may be provided/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and light housekeeping assistance.
• Provide respite care and support to family caregivers.
• Assist with post-operative recovery and medication management where applicable.
• Support clients with dementia care, safety, comfort, and quality of life.
