Job summary

AmeriCARE Denver is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist clients with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care in a home setting. This role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals who communicate clearly and work well with family members and staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. CPR certification and strong health and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Adherence to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting.
• Shopping trips & light housekeeping duties, meal prep.
• Medication reminders.
• Ability to act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Clear communication with clients, family members, and team members.
