Job summary

Qualicare Home Care Services is urgently seeking a reliable, compassionate Caregiver or CHHA to provide hands-on personal care to a client in their home in New Jersey. The role focuses on transfers, hygiene, incontinence care, dressing, and daily activities, with emphasis on safety and dignity.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with bed-to-wheelchair transfers and comfortable delivering one-on-one support. CHHA certification is preferred; background screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting clients with bed-to-wheelchair transfers.
• Hands-on personal care including hygiene assistance.
• Ability to provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Must complete required background and health screenings.
• NJ CHHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfers from wheelchair to bed and bed to wheelchair.
• Provide sponge baths and personal hygiene care.
• Change adult briefs and assist with incontinence care.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Ensure client safety, comfort and dignity.
