Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate, experienced Caregiver to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home support for seniors in Texas. You will help with mobility, transfers, daily living tasks, and meaningful companionship to enhance clients’ independence and quality of life.

The role requires at least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. CNA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on caregiving experience in-home, facility, or private care.
• Experience with transfer equipment and dementia care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with active auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical transfers.
• Comfortable working in homes with pets.

Responsibilities

• Mobility & transfer support: assist with walking, standing, and transfers using gait belts and equipment.
• Personal care: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal prep.
• Care plan execution: follow Plans of Care, maintain a safe home, monitor fall risks, report changes.
• Companionship: provide social interaction and emotional support.
