Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Santa Rosa seeks caring professionals to provide one-on-one in-home care, enabling seniors to live safely and with dignity. You’ll offer personal care, companionship, meals, and light housekeeping while supporting wellbeing and independence in the client’s home.

Prior caregiving experience is valued; training is provided. This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and excellent communication with clients and families in a trusted, locally owned agency.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional caregiving is preferred; training may be provided.
• HCA Registration is preferred to work legally in the US.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement with clients.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Give medication reminders and wellness support as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide transportation to appointments and run errands.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to the care team.
• Respect client routines, privacy, and independence.
