A Special Touch In Home Care is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team in the Kanawha Valley area. The right candidate will provide personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, meal preparation, and daily living tasks while maintaining a respectful, supportive relationship with clients at their homes.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to learn new skills.
• Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or those recovering from surgery.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (appointments, walks).
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Assist with daily living tasks and meals as needed.
