Senior Helpers in Akron is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide hands-on in-home support, companionship, and safety for clients who wish to remain independent. You will assist with daily activities, monitor wellbeing, and help create a comfortable living environment.

The role offers flexible scheduling, part-time opportunities, and the chance to gain meaningful one-on-one connections with clients in their homes within the Akron area.

• Providing companionship & emotional support


• Assisting w/ bathing & personal hygiene


• Assisting w/ dressing and grooming


• Toileting assistance


• Medication reminders


• Assisting w/ ambulation, walking, & safe mobility


• Assisting w/ positioning & transfers as appropriate


• Meal preparation


• Light housekeeping & laundry


• Running errands & assisting with shopping


• Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment


• Reporting changes in client needs to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid driver\'s license


• Reliable vehicle


• Current auto insurance


• Ability to pass a background check
