• Ability to communicate with clients and families while protecting HIPAA privacy.
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and patient transfers as needed.
• Experience working in a client’s home and knowledge of home and community care standards.
• Compassionate caregiving with patience, attention to detail, and strong client communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor health by observing vital signs, managing medication reminders, and reporting changes promptly.
• Provide specialized care as needed.
• Document records accurately and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Support safe patient transfer methods using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices.
• Perform light housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and safe living environment.
• Follow home healthcare regulations and protocols while delivering compassionate patient care.
