Job summary

TheKey is seeking experienced Level 3 Caregivers to support a client in Benicia who uses a wheelchair and requires maximum daily living assistance. You will provide hands-on ADL help, transfers, and companionship in the home, coordinating with family to ensure continuity of care.

Ideal candidates are reliable, empathetic, and proactive, with one year of caregiving experience and the ability to work independently. Virtual/onsite training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or Dementia is a plus.
• Empathy, compassion and kindness are essential.
• Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm under pressure.
• Punctual, reliable and dependable.
• Basic computer skills and general tech savviness.
• Proof of U.S. work eligibility and ability to pass a background check.
• Provide professional references.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on assistance with ADLs (toileting, transferring, dressing, mobility).
• Full transfer support when needed.
• Light housekeeping and keeping the client engaged.
• Mental stimulation through conversation and activities.
• Collaborate with family to ensure seamless care.
