Home Instead Seattle is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers for part-time, short- shift opportunities across West Seattle, Central Seattle and nearby areas. Active HCA or CNA certification is REQUIRED, with a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Active HCA or CNA certification required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance preferred but not required.
• Service areas: West Seattle, Central Seattle, North Seattle, Shoreline, Kenmore.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Commitment to treating clients and their homes with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility using gait belts and other devices.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Give medication and appointment reminders.
• Provide care for Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Parkinson's patients.
• Support hospice care as needed.
• Promote client safety, dignity, independence and well-being.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families and care team.
