Senior Helpers of Greater Chicago is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our award-winning in-home care team serving the Chicagoland area. We welcome people with or without caregiving experience and tailor opportunities to your skill level, including day, evening, weekend, weekday, and overnight shifts.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid orientation, benefits after 1500 hours, and opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• Provided companionship and emotional support to enhance well-being.
• Assisted with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space.
• Reminded clients of daily routines, appointments, and personal care schedules.
• Monitored general health and reported any unusual changes in mood, behavior, or physical condition.
• Ran errands, shopped for groceries, or accompanied clients to social events and appointments.
• Maintained a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times.
• With a negative Tuberculosis Test

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders (per care plan and state guidelines).
• Monitor client condition and report changes promptly.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when required.
• Maintain accurate daily care documentation.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
