Job summary

Charis Hearts, Inc. is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical in-home and community care under client service plans in Tennessee. You will perform wellness checks, assist with admission documents, and support clients in daily living activities within their homes.

The role requires compassionate, honest individuals with reliable transportation, strong communication, and a willingness to attend training sessions. Flexible scheduling and benefits are noted in the job description.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have valid State ID or Driver's license.
Strong communication skills – oral and written.
Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Honesty and integrity in all interactions.
Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD).

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical in-home and community care per the Client Service Plan.
Perform client wellness checks to ensure well-being.
Assist clients with admission documents as needed.
Train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living in the client's home.
Submit required documentation accurately and on time.
Follow rules, policies, and procedures related to service delivery.
Immediately report any incidents of injury or suspected abuse to your supervisor.
