Job summary

Caring Senior Service is actively seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors throughout McAllen and nearby Rio Grande Valley communities.

We offer flexible scheduling with day, evening, overnight, weekend, and extended shifts. If you have 1 year of caregiving experience and a caring, professional attitude, apply today to join our supportive team delivering personalized home care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Caring, dependable, and professional attitude
• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred but not required
• Experience with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs) preferred
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Supporting walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers
• Helping with toileting and incontinence needs
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Helping with errands, transportation, and appointments
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client conditions
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home
• Respecting client privacy, dignity, and independence
• Communicating with clients, families, and office staff
