Job summary

Assisting Hands North Austin is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to provide non-medical support in clients' homes in Leander, Texas. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, monitor well-being, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment while following personalized care plans.

You will work in a dedicated team with flexible full-time, part-time or on-call schedules to meet client needs, emphasizing dignity, independence, and peace of mind for families.

Qualifications

Compassionate and patient attitude toward elderly and disabled individuals.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting clients.
Experience in a caregiving role or completion of a caregiver training program.
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes to the supervising team.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients, addressing any hazards or concerns.
Collaborate with our team to ensure personalized care plans are followed and adjusted as needed.
