A First Name Basis is hiring Personal Care Assistants to provide compassionate in‑home care in Simpsonville, SC. You will deliver personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and meal support in clients' homes, with travel across service area and flexible scheduling including weekends, part‑time, full‑time, and PRN roles.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols. A kind, patient demeanor and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to travel to client homes and complete onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation; assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Report changes in health and well‑being to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and proper use of safety equipment.
• Document care provided according to standards; travel to client homes as required.
• Complete required training at hire and annually.
