Job summary

A First Name Basis is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our Lexington, SC team, delivering in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities across the region. You will provide personal care, companionship, and practical support in clients' homes, while maintaining safety and dignity.

We offer competitive hourly pay, daily pay options, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment. Prior CNAs or HHA experience is preferred, with required screenings and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to complete competency and skills assessments.
• Ability to travel to client homes and to work in private home settings.
• Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation, assist with feeding as needed.
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor and report health changes; document care per standards.
• Travel reliably to patient homes across the service area.
• Complete required in-service training on hire and annually.
• Follow written care instructions and document services provided.
