Senior Helpers of Pelham, AL is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to support elderly clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, transportation to appointments, errands, and provide companionship to improve quality of life.

This role requires reliability and empathy. You will remind clients about medications, document care activities, and coordinate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, dignified, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Reminding clients to take their medications as prescribed.
• Running errands, including grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
• Accompanying clients to medical appointments and providing transportation.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the client.
• Documenting care activities and any changes in the client's condition.
• Communicating with the client's family and healthcare professionals as needed.
