Job summary

A First Name Basis (AFNB) is seeking an In Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, person-centered care in clients' homes in Gulfport, Mississippi. The role offers Full Time, Part Time, PRN, weekend and overnight shifts with overtime opportunities.

You will assist with daily living activities, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments, while accurately documenting care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid ID and reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and onboard.
• Willingness to complete competency and skills assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation; assist with feeding as needed.
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor changes in client health and well-being; report properly.
