Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Portland, OR is seeking compassionate CNAs and HCAs for in-home care in the SE area. This part-time role covers 31 hours per week, providing hands-on assistance and companionship to clients in their own homes.

You will follow each client's Care Plan, support activities of daily living, and coordinate with families. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Caregiver with at least two years of professional experience, highly preferred.
• Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
• Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
• Must be reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADL's - Bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, feeding.
• Assisting with IADL's - Shopping, housekeeping, medication management, meal preparation.
• Following each client's Care Plan.
