Job summary

Charis Hearts, Inc. is seeking caring caregivers to provide non-medical in-home and community care under the Client Service Plan. Flexible schedules and top pay support work-life balance.

You will perform wellness checks, assist with admissions, train other caregivers, and uphold confidentiality while delivering compassionate support to clients.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License.
• Strong communication skills - both oral and written.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Honesty and integrity in all interactions.
• Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities (MHDD).

Responsibilities

• Caregivers provide non-medical in-home and/or community care based on the Client Service Plan.
• Perform client wellness checks to ensure their well-being.
• Assist clients with completing admission documents as needed.
• Help train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in the client's home.
• Provide non-medical support to agency service recipients.
• Be familiar with and follow all rules, policies, and procedures related to service delivery.
• Submit all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhere to the individual service plan for each recipient.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client records and information unless authorized by written consent.
• Immediately report any incidents of injury to your supervisor.
• Report any suspected abuse or neglect to authorities and your supervisor.
