Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of NWI is seeking compassionate CAREGivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care for seniors who wish to age in place. You will build meaningful connections while assisting with daily living tasks and companionship in clients' homes.

No healthcare certification is required, and the team offers flexible full- or part-time options, with opportunities for training, advancement, and a supportive onboarding process.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required; CNA/HHA preferred.
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Must pass a criminal background check (national and state as required).
• Proof of current, negative TB test.
• Must be physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship for clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, reminders, bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, light housework, meal prep).
• Transport to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance.
