A First Name Basis is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in the local region. The role offers Full Time, Part Time, PRN, weekends, and overnight shifts, with a base pay of $11 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Competency and skills assessments must be completed.
• Ability to travel to client homes and work independently in home settings.
• Compassion, patience and professionalism with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and feeding as needed.
• Remind about medications and accompany to appointments.
• Monitor health changes and report to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and proper use of safety equipment.
• Document care provided according to standards.
• Travel to client homes for assigned visits.
• Complete required in-service trainings.
• Follow written care instructions and document services.
