Seniors Helping Seniors Jackson East is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in the Jackson Metro Area. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful difference by helping older adults stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housework, errands, transportation, and daily living reminders.

Qualifications

You may be a great fit if you genuinely enjoy helping older adults
Compassionate, patient, respectful and dependable
Good communication skills and reliability
Comfortable working independently in a client's home
Valid driver's license and auto insurance when transport is part of the assignment
Able to complete background and employment screening

Responsibilities

Providing companionship and conversation
Preparing simple meals
Light housekeeping and laundry
Grocery shopping and errands
Providing transportation to appointments, shopping, church, or activities
Helping with organization and everyday household tasks
Providing reminders and assistance with daily routines
Providing respite and support for family caregivers
Assisting with personal care when appropriate and trained
Encouraging social interaction, activity, and independence
Providing dependable, compassionate support and communicating concerns to the office
