Visiting Angels of Albuquerque is hiring a In Home Patient Care Assistant – PCA to serve clients across the local area with flexible schedules and competitive wages. You will provide in-home care, support daily living activities, and companionship while following individual care plans.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal planning, light housekeeping, transportation, and reporting health changes. Training opportunities in dementia/Alzheimer’s care are available, with emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid training and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while following dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background check).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light physical activity or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
