Job summary

Amada Senior Care provides non-medical, in-home care to seniors, including veterans, with flexible schedules and ample training. Caregivers can earn $12–$16 per hour and enjoy benefits like health insurance, PTO, and next-day pay.

As a caregiver, you will provide companionship, personal hygiene support, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safety oversight in clients' homes within a 25-mile radius. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• 2 years of caregiving experience is required.
• Able and willing to drive within a 25 mile radius of home address.
• Able and willing to work with both male and female patients.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Supportive and compassionate

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home companionship to elderly clients
• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients by attending to basic needs, such as showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform basic housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living
