Job summary

A Place at Home Cypress is seeking compassionate, reliable in-home caregivers to support clients in Cypress, Houston, Fairfield, Tomball and surrounding areas. You’ll join a team that values connection, safety, and meaningful, person-centered care.

As a caregiver, you’ll provide companionship, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility help and light housekeeping. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation help you reach clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient with genuine care for others.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and accountability.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or stroke care is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Companion care – Providing emotional support and meaningful social interaction.
• Personal care assistance – Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Meal preparation – Assisting with cooking and dietary needs.
• Medication reminders – Ensuring clients stay on track with their prescriptions.
• Mobility assistance – Helping with walking, transfers, and movement.
• Light housekeeping – Creating a clean and safe home environment.
• Care documentation – Keeping accurate records and communicating changes in client health.
