Job summary

Safe Harbor Home Care, a San Diego based provider of in-home care services, seeks Personal Care Attendants to assist clients in their homes and communities. Responsibilities include daily living support, personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, delivered with compassion and adherence to state regulations.

Minimum qualifications include CA HCA registration, I-9 eligibility, and TB clearance; onboarding requires background checks and orientation.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
• Able to obtain during onboarding: Clearance Verified on the Home Care Aide Registry.
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate.
• Registered with state of CA and active HCA number.
• Completed necessary LIC/OC forms and background check requirements.
• Minimum of five hours entry-level orientation prior to client contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living and personal care activities as described.
• Provide companionship, grooming, bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility assistance.
• Assist with medication reminders and adherence as directed.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, and transportation support as needed.
• Deliver services in a caring, respectful manner per agency policies and state regulations.
