Heartsong Homecare Cooperative in Anacortes, WA is hiring a Compassionate In-Home Caregiver to support clients at home. Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour and owers make $22.00 per hour. Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time.

Schedule: Flexible daytime hours with occasional weekend or overnight options. We are a caregiver-owned cooperative focused on democracy, fair work standards, and mutual respect. You will provide companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to

Qualifications

• Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience: Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but a warm heart and strong work ethic matter most (we will train the right person!).
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
• Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check.
• Work Authorization: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Companionship: Provide engaging conversation, emotional support, and company during walks or light activities.
• Personal Care: Assist safely with daily grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility transfers.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals, monitor dietary needs, and handle basic grocery shopping or errands.
• Light Housekeeping: Keep living areas tidy, manage light laundry, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Transportation: Drive the client to medical appointments, social outings, or local errands.
• Medication Reminders: Provide timely reminders for prescribed daily medications.
