Job summary

AFNB is seeking caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in Awendaw, SC. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules at $14 per hour, with daily pay options and flexible shifts.

We provide ongoing training and a supportive team environment. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, documenting care, and traveling to client homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid ID, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation; assist with feeding.
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor changes in health and report to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Ensure proper use of safety equipment.
• Document care provided per standards.
• Travel to client homes across service area.
• Complete required in-service training annually.
• Follow written care instructions and document services.
