Job summary

Continuum is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a female client in her home. You will assist with mobility, meals, medication reminders, and safety while promoting dignity and independence.

The role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and long-term commitment to keeping the client safe and comfortable at home, with a schedule spanning several weekday evenings and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving/home care or CNA/HHA roles preferred.
• Ability to support mobility with transfers and balance.
• Strong communication and observation skills; report changes.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement during shifts.
• Assist with meal preparation and encouragement during mealtimes.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Support mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
• Monitor client condition and report changes.
• Encourage independence with appropriate hands-on assistance.
