Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking an In Home Caregiver to assist elderly and vulnerable clients across Northeast Tennessee, including Bristol. You will help with ADLs, medication assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation and provide companionship with the utmost care and respect for client dignity.

You will report daily activities to the supervisor, adhere to the client’s plan of care, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Work requires good communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ClearCare

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as specified in the client’s plan of care.
• Assist with medication assistance, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Report daily activity to your supervisor through the agency management system and daily activity logs.
