Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Post Falls, Idaho is seeking a Caregiver/Companion to provide companionship and assist with light personal care in clients’ homes, following the care plan to ensure safety, quality and continuity of care.

You will engage clients with reading, conversation, activities, help with meals and light housekeeping, accompany them on walks and errands, and report any changes to the Agency Manager or Care Designer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Training in topics related to human development and interpersonal relationships.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience with hands-on caregiving and mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Provide companionship through reading, conversation, and activities.
• Promote safety and maintain a clean, healthy home.
• Accompany clients on walks, errands, and doctor visits.
• Report changes to the Agency Manager/Care Designer.
• May assist with meals and light housework.
