Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Lancaster, PA is seeking a dedicated Comfort Keeper Caregiver to provide non-medical in-home support that promotes comfort, safety, and independence for clients.

You will assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship, help with meals and light housekeeping, accompany clients on errands and appointments, and document services in accordance with policy. The role requires reliability, strong ethics, and compassionate, client-centered care across the Lancaster area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bondable and must pass background checks (criminal, driving record, credit, references).
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver\'s license, and auto insurance.
• Must complete Comfort Keepers training and orientation.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong honesty and integrity and genuine concern for helping people.

Responsibilities

• Provide general non-medical care per Plan of Care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation).
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation and light housekeeping.
• Perform errands and accompany clients to appointments.
• Complete required documentation and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment.
