Lutheran Homes Of South Carolina is seeking a Companion in Greenville to support clients at home with daily living activities, light housekeeping, safety monitoring, and meaningful companionship. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home while promoting client independence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year of employment experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Compassionate and patient with a commitment to client care. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with client and supervisor; must be capable of completing assigned job duties and following a care services plan with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client safety during ambulation and bathing.
• Assist with ADLs: dressing, oral hygiene, hair care, cosmetics, medication reminders, nail care (no cutting).
• Perform housekeeping: laundry, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bed making, linens.
• Report unsafe conditions; follow safety protocols; engage clients with activities.
• Submit payroll/time reports/mileage; HIPAA privacy; attend trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
