Job summary

Transforming Age in Bellevue, WA is seeking compassionate Home Caregivers to assist clients in their own homes with daily living activities. You will help with meals, personal care, light housekeeping, shopping, and transportation, while encouraging independence and reporting changes to a supervisor.

Candidates must be 18+, may have a HS diploma or GED, read and write in English, pass background screenings, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must read, write, and take direction in English. Additional languages preferred.
• Motivation and desire to serve adults with disabilities and/or chronic health conditions.
• The ability to work with clients of any gender is preferred, not required.
• Reliable transportation to and from client’s home, personal vehicle is preferred.
• Completion of a background screen and other pre-employment screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living (e.g., meals, personal care, light housekeeping).
• Encourage clients to be as independent as possible in self-care.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor according to policy.
• Participate in and complete training and certification programs.
