Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers in Houston, TX to assist elderly or recovering clients with daily activities, hygiene, meals, and mobility. You will provide personal care, monitor medications, and support rehabilitation exercises in a one-on-one setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of healthcare or in-home care experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Compassionate, supportive, and patient-focused.
• HS diploma or CNA/HHA program completion.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends.
• Hoyer Lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene and basic care for elderly or post-surgery clients.
• Assist with medications and mobility, including doctor appointments.
• Prepare meals and assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Help with housekeeping and shopping.
• Attend to emergencies quickly and responsibly.
• Support daily living activities and companionship.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
