Job summary

The Homecare Company Of Tennessee is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in Oak Ridge, TN. Under the supervision of an RN, you will assist with daily living activities to promote safety, independence, and comfort.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to HIPAA, and accurate documentation of notes and observations. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required to meet clients’ schedules and care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation without needing the assistance of another person and/or company to provide the transportation.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Provide non-medical care and support under RN supervision.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as directed.
• Observe changes in client condition and report to the supervising nurse immediately.
• Document care provided in daily visit notes.
