Job summary

Genuine Global Care in Omaha invites applications for an In Home Care Aide to provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients' homes. You will work closely with patients, implementing care plans, supporting daily activities, and promoting comfort and safety in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have driver’s license.
• CPR certification is a plus.
• Experience in personal care assistance.
• Must have working cellphone.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by assisting in changing bed linens, doing laundry, light housekeeping, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Assist with medication reminders
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
