Job summary

Visiting Angels of Cedar Rapids is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support seniors in Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Swisher, North Liberty, Iowa City, Coralville and surrounding areas. You will help with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping and personal care, while promoting independence and dignity at home.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation with clients.
• Encourage exercise and mobility; accompany visits and doctor appointments as needed.
• Prompt clients to take medications at appropriate times.
