Job summary

Visiting Angels of Cedar Rapids is hiring a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver to support seniors in Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Swisher, North Liberty, Iowa City, Coralville and surrounding areas. This role offers full-time, part-time or PRN shifts with a focus on compassionate home care.

You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, mobility support, medication reminders and transportation coordination, helping clients stay at home with dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Reliable transportation to client visits is important.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene.
• Managing light housekeeping tasks.
• Encouraging clients to meet exercise goals.
