Chicago is seeking Homemaker / Home Care Aide to provide in‑home support and companionship to clients in need. Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation as outlined in each care plan.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiver with client‑centered approach.
• Must be in good physical health and able to perform routine duties.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to follow care plans.
• Must pass agency exam with 75% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal planning and meal preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping such as making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
• Assist with essential shopping and errands per care plan.
• Escort clients to medical appointments and outings as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with communication needs, including writing or typing correspondence.
• Follow the written care plan and agency policies.
• Observe client changes and report concerns to Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and service hours.
• Attend orientation and staff meetings.
