A nonprofit organization in Minneapolis is looking for an Immigration Attorney to provide essential legal representation to refugees and immigrants. The role includes preparing immigration applications, conducting legal screenings, and offering direct support to clients navigating the immigration system. Ideal candidates will have a Juris Doctor degree, be licensed to practice law, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities

• Conduct legal screenings to determine eligibility for immigration benefits.

Skills

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Licensed and in good standing with a U.S. state bar

Strong organizational and case management skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Fluency in a language common among client populations (Swahili, French, Arabic, etc.)
