Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping in healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to follow infection control procedures.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Clean floors, rugs, and surfaces, including stripping, waxing, and disinfecting.
• Clean bathrooms, windows, walls, and ceilings; remove water marks and sanitize fixtures.
• Discard waste into proper containers and ensure proper storage of supplies.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE as required and knock before entering rooms.
