Job summary

Heritage Manor of Ransomville is an assisted living community seeking a dependable and compassionate Housekeeping Associate to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and resident care.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, dusting, laundry duties, and reporting safety concerns. Must be reliable, friendly, and able to interact with elderly residents with patience and respect.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and timemanagement skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Friendly and patient demeanor when interacting with elderly residents

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to facility standards
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Change bed linens, launder towels/sheets, and handle laundry per protocol
• Maintain housekeeping carts and supply closets, report inventory needs
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Assist with deep-cleaning tasks as needed
• Interact with residents in a polite, respectful, and compassionate manner
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to management
