The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local guidelines, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse residents and staff. On-site position with standard facility hours and continuous safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, and visitors.
• Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and follow safety precautions.
• Follow work schedules and infection control procedures.
• Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing when cleaning resident areas.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments in all areas.
• Manage supplies and ensure janitorial closets are stocked.
• Assist with moving or lifting heavy items when needed.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces daily.
• Ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies after use.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
