Job summary

Jefferson City Care & Rehab seeks a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean, safe living spaces for residents. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, window washing, carpet shampooing, and furniture arrangement, supporting a high standard of care in a senior living setting.

We value reliability, basic computer skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with staff, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• English in writing and verbal communication with staff, patients' families and customers.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use a computer or phone for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust surfaces.
• Wash windows.
• Shampoo and vacuum carpets.
• Arrange furniture.
• General cleaning of furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware.
• Other duties as assigned.
