Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic cleaning principles and safety knowledge.
• Good communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors as assigned.
• Report carpeted areas needing attention to supervisor.
• Vacuum rooms and dust surfaces in patient areas.
• Empty trash, clean bathrooms and fixtures, and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
• Follow center procedures and infection control standards.
• Move furniture for thorough cleaning and assist with daily tasks.
• Adhere to chemical safety and use MSDS guidelines.
• Maintain supplies and report equipment issues to Maintenance.
