Job summary

Parkvistacc is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to support housekeeping across resident rooms and common areas. You will perform cleaning tasks, disinfect surfaces, and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

In this role, you must read and communicate in English, work independently as needed, and maintain equipment and supplies. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential to success in a busy care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Must maintain care and use of supplies and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and trash removal.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas and maintain corridors.
• Disinfect surfaces and equipment to ensure a healthy environment.
• Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Participate in infection control and universal precautions.
• Maintain appearance of work areas and minimize waste of supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families and staff.
• Demonstrate teamwork and support colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
