Job summary

Franklin Restorative Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will follow facility standards and infection-control practices while supporting daily resident care.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, changing linens, sanitizing surfaces, handling laundry, and reporting equipment or maintenance needs. A compassionate, team-oriented attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety rules.
• Comfort with infection control procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift as needed.
• Dependable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and restrooms according to facility standards
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a safe environment
• Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed
• Follow proper infection control and safety procedures at all times
• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering items as assigned
• Promptly report any equipment or maintenance concerns
• Provide respectful and courteous service to residents, families, and staff
