Job summary

Excel Care Newark is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces following infection control and safety standards.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, showing strong attention to detail and time management while providing respectful, compassionate care in our rehabilitation center.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Collect and take out trash to designated disposal areas.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests.
• Assist with room turnovers and deep cleaning as assigned.
